Escape to 19th century France in this historical biopic that chronicles the lifelong and emotionally-complicated friendship between gifted artist Paul Cézanne and Nobel-prize winning writer Emile Zola. Their easy and carefree childhood shifts as their adult paths diverge leaving them at times the closest of confidants and at others, bitter creative, romantic, and philosophical rivals. Intoxicatingly beautiful cinematography will awaken your senses – sight, sound, and yes, even taste – as Cézanne et Moi transports you from bourgeois Paris to glorious Aix-en-Province. Keep an eye out for cameos of other French Impressionists Manet, Renoir, Pissarro!
The film is R-rated and shall not be shown in mainstream cinemas.
