In 1972 Huron County, a young theatre actor convinces two bachelor farmers to allow him to live and work with them in order to gather stories of rural life for a play. All three lives are altered when the line between truth and fiction is broken.

At our April 8 screening of The Drawer Boy, several people involved with the production will be present. We will welcome lead actor Stuart Hughes, associate director Aviva Armour-Ostroff, and Jefferson Mappin, one of the executive producers. A Question and Answer session will take place after the 4:30 screening and our guests will introduce the 7:00 film.

Richard Clarkin won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Canadian Screen Awards on March 31, 2019 for his portrayal of Morgan in this film.  Congratulations Richard!
